Ставил hplip-1.7.1.run взятый с http://hplip.sourceforge.net/downloads.html в ASPLinux 11(Seliger):

HP Device Manager не нашел принтера на шаге 'Select from discovered devices', была табличка:

Я нажал 'Find manually...', указал IP нужной машины, но это не помогло.

Как видите есть принтер в шарах компа. В чем дело? Не в 'session request to 192.168.0.225 failed ' случаем?

Пробовал ставить в ASPLinux 11.2 (Ladoga) установка закончилась словами:

Правильно ли я ответил на вопрос о том какая это Fedora четверкой? На машине, как показала команда rpm -qa, присутствовал пакет libjpeg-6b-34.
Аналогично закончилась у меня попытка установить дрова на FC5, только там вместо якобы 'отсутствовал' пакет libusb.
Зачем нужно 'an active internet connection'?
