Регулировка звука в АСП11 (ALSA)

Здравствуйте!
У меня звуковая... э... ну картой это назвать сложно, в общем, кодек AC97 CMI9739. АСП 11. В прошлых версиях громкость звука совсем не регулировалась. В этой стала, но... на PCM! То есть играет amaroK, кручу Master, Master Mono, <много чего другого> -- никакой реакции, трогаю PCM -- работает. Сначала терпел каждый раз в KMix выставлять микшер для регуляции PCM, но он же не запоминает, что ты выбрал. В общем задолбался я с этим мучаться. Подскажите, где что поправить, чтобы громкость регулировалась именно там, где ей и положено регулироваться: в Master'е.
